Food Service News

Dietary News: The school district offers a hot lunch to all students. Students may eat at the school or bring a sack lunch.  The school will make substitutions to the regular meal for children whose disability restricts their diet and when a physician certifies that disability. 

Free and Reduced Information:  Free and reduced priced breakfasts and lunches are available for families who need assistance.  You can pick up an application at any of the school offices.  A NEW FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT EACH YEAR!  Reduced prices are $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch. 

Elementary School Parents: The cost of a meal for grades K-5 is $2.25.  Your child is served an entrée, fruit, vegetable, bread and milk.  If your child comes home with an apple stamp on his/her hand, it means your account balance is at $5.00 or below and you need to make a deposit to their account. 

Middle School Parents: The cost of a meal for grades 6-8 is $2.50.  Students are offered a choice of two different meals, they may have an extra entrée at an additional cost of $1.00.  They also have the choice of buying a la carte items at the following costs: 

5”Round Pizza - $1.50
Nacho & Cheese - $1.75
Chicken Strip or Bread Stick - $.50 each
Ice Cream Products - $.75
Snacks - $.75 (grain bar, rice crispy bar, pop tarts, etc.)
Bottled Beverages - $1.00 (water, juice, GNG)
Pretzel - $1.00
Corn Dog - $1.00
Italian Dunkers - $1.00
Hot Sandwich - $1.75

High School Parents:

The cost of a meal for high school students is $2.50.  Students are offered a choice of two
different meals and are also offered the choice of alacarte items.  Additional alacarte items include: 
Pizza Wedge - $1.75
Solo Pizza – $2.50
Bosco Sticks - $2.25
Soup - $1.50

Lunch Accounts:  Statements will not be mailed out.  You can check your balance on this web site and your students can see their balance each time they go through the lunch line.  We also send out a low balance notice each day by email.  Please let us know your email address if you are not receiving this notice.  IT IS THE PARENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN A POSITIVE BALANCE IN THEIR STUDENTS ACCOUNT AT ALL TIMES.  You can also make debit/credit card payments or automatic withdrawals on line.  Just follow the instructions on the web site after reviewing your family lunch information.  If your balance reaches a negative $10, your students will not be allowed to charge any more meals until a deposit is made into your account!
