I would like to welcome everyone to the 2020-2021 school year!  This has definitely been a trying time in our world, and we hope the start of a new school year makes everything better.  Our goal is to provide skills needed to challenge students to be more successful in school both academically and emotionally. Lennox Elementary/LWC Intermediate will provide lessons to help students be safe, responsible, and respectful at home, at school, and in their community. We will also provide opportunities for students to make real world connections to what is taught in the classroom.

Along with our regular curriculum, we will continue to utilize individual online programs for students in grades K-6.  In grades K-2, Reading Eggs and Mathseeds will be utilized and in grades 3-6, we will continue to use Exact Path.  All three are individualized computer program that push students in content areas they excel in, and help in weak areas according to the NWEA formative assessment we give three times a year. We welcome new staff in our building this year.  They include Jessica Mikkelsen (6th grade reading, Devon Melillo (5th grade band), Megan Hanson (6th grade vocal), and Jeremy Tietgen (PreK-6th grade library aide).

About Mr. Eich

I have spent my entire educational career with the Lennox School District (22nd year). I taught 4th grade for four years and 5th grade for five years. The last twelve years I have been an administrator. I spent four years as the curriculum and professional development coordinator, three years as Worthing Elementary principal and the past eight years as the Lennox Elementary principal. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Dakota in 1998 and my Master’s degree in Educational Administration in 2005.

I have been married to my wife, Jodi, for 20 years. She is the Chief Operating Officer for Rivers Edge bank. We have four sons, Peyton (12th grade), Conner (10th grade), Talen (7th grade), and Griffin (2nd grade). I enjoy golfing, exercising, coaching and watching all the athletic events my sons participate.
