Early Childhood Programs
In their first few years, children learn more and at a much faster pace than at any other time in their lives.
The early childhood Screening and Evaluation program
Screening and evaluation are available to all children, birth to school age, who reside in the Lennox School District. Parental involvement is a critical part of the screening process. For children whose screen results indicate developmental concerns, multi-disciplinary comprehensive evaluations are available and are conducted by certified professionals. Once results are completed, a meeting will be set-up to discuss the results. If your child qualifies, an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) for birth to three or an Individualized Education Program (IEP) will be developed by the team to meet your child’s needs.
Birth to Three: REQUEST FOR AN EVALUATION NEEDS TO BE REFERRED BY THE PARENT
Screenings are available at no cost to children birth to age five living in the Lennox School District boundaries. Parents can learn more about their child’s overall development and learning. Screenings for Birth to Three take place in the home or daycare and children ages 3-5 recommend screenings at Lennox Elementary.
