We are excited to begin our District Teacher of the Year nomination process, and we need your help celebrating the incredible educators who make a difference in the lives of our students every day.
Our teachers inspire, support, challenge, and care for students in countless ways—often beyond what is seen in the classroom. This is an opportunity for staff, students, parents, and community members to share their appreciation and recognize a teacher who goes above and beyond.
Attached to this message is the Teacher of the Year Nomination Form. When completing the form, please explain why you feel the educator you are nominating should be selected, citing specific examples. Some things to consider include:
How the teacher meets the needs of students
Dedication to the teaching profession
Desire for professional growth
Community involvement
Positive rapport with students, parents, and staff
We encourage you to take a few moments to reflect on the educators who have made a meaningful impact and help us recognize their outstanding work.
