June 24, 2020

Greetings Lennox School District Families,

I hope your summer is going well and you are finding time to relax despite everything going on around us. Before we know it, the start of a new school year will be upon us. We intend to open our doors on August 26 with appropriate modifications to ensure we do our best to keep our students and staff healthy and mitigate the spread of COVID 19. The most obvious adaptions will consist of screening students and staff prior to entry (temperature checks), as well as increased disinfection practices. We are working on a “Return to Learn” plan for the 2020-2021 school year that will outline all considerations for restarting school this fall. We plan to release a first draft of this plan by early July and fully anticipate we will need to make adjustments as information about COVID continues to evolve. We are also evaluating necessary changes to student registration on August 4 and open house on August 24. We will notify you as soon as plans are finalized.
