Oriole in the Spotlight: Brooklyn Dillon

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Brooklyn Dillon, SPED Educational Assistant!

Brooklyn is in her second year in education and her second year with the Lennox School District.

One of Brooklyn’s favorite parts of working at Lennox is helping students feel seen and understood and building meaningful relationships with both students and staff. She especially enjoys celebrating the big and small victories along the way—from reaching a goal to simply making it through a tough day. ❤️

Brooklyn is a lifelong Oriole, having grown up attending school in Lennox! Outside of school, she loves spending time with her niece and nephew, has a sweet tooth for all things sweet, and hopes to visit the Pacific Northwest someday. If she could have any superpower, she’d choose telekinesis!

When asked what makes her proud to be an Oriole, Brooklyn said it best: she’s proud to be part of a team whose priority is always the children they work with.

Her advice to our students? “Treat others the way you would want to be treated. And be yourself!”

Thank you, Brooklyn, for the care, encouragement, and relationships you bring to our students each day! 🖤🧡
