The Lennox speech and debate team finished the final Central Forensics Conference tournament with many strong showings. In debate Emma Kilene placed 3rd in novice LD, Valicity VanBreisen and Madix Havard placed 3rd in novice public forum. In speech events Gunnar Geiken placed 5th in varsity extemporaneous speaking, Emma Kilene placed 3rd in program oral interp, Xavier Larson placed 3rd in humorous interp, and Kaylee Bosma placed 3rd in original oratory and 1st in informative speaking. After two tournaments (the first was cancelled because of weather), the team took 3rd in debate sweepstakes and 2nd in combined sweepstakes.
