Congratulations to MaryKay Thompson for being nominated as one of our MVP Staff of the Week! MaryKay is a JK-1st grade Special Education Aide at Lennox Elementary. She has been in education for 12 years with the last six at Lennox Elementary. Her favorite parts about her job are her amazing coworkers and the entire staff. She also loves morning hugs from the kids.
When not teaching, MaryKay enjoys spending time with her family watching True Movie Thursdays on Lifetime, reading self-help books, teaching Sunday School, and traveling to Arizona during breaks. Her favorite book is The Five People You Meet in Heaven, and her favorite movie is Heaven is for Real. Finally, her favorite quote is "Life is better when you cry a little, laugh a lot, and are thankful for everything you got."
