Good afternoon Lennox JH-HS Students, Parents and Guardians:

 

Prom – Grand March in LHS Gym – 8pm on April 20. Doors open at 7pm.  Prom Dance in LHS Cafeteria – approx. 9-11:30pm. 

Student Survey – Students will be taking a survey next week (Wednesday – April 24/Thursday – April 25) from our Prevention partners at Carroll Institute.  The surveys will include questions about bullying, drug and alcohol use, etc.  The results of the survey will be used to assist them in planning our programming needs for next year.  You will find a copy of the survey questions in the links below.  If you do not wish to have your child take the survey, you may excuse them from this activity by emailing Chad.Allison@k12.sd.us before April 24.

Academic Awards, National Honor Society and Scholarship Night – Monday, April 29, at 6pm in the JH-HS Cafeteria.  Prior to the Awards, NHS members will display their community service projects in the lobby.

 

State Testing Update: Each year in April, we administer the required statewide assessment for all students in grades 3-8 and grade 11.  Students in grade 11 will test in the areas of Science, Math, and ELA on the mornings of April 9, 10 and 11.  Students in grades 7 & 8 will test in ELA from April 22-26, Math from April 2-12, and 8th grade will test in Science April 15 and 17.  During last year’s state testing Lennox School District students scored among the highest in the state!

Parking Lot Closure – A few areas of the parking lot will be closed to prepare for our construction project.  Beginning April 15, the areas outlined in red will be closed for the duration of construction – See the map on page 5

STC Career Exploration day for Sophomores: May 8th
