2/11/22 – WEEKLY UPDATE from the JH-HS

Good afternoon, Lennox JH-HS Students, Parents and Guardians:

NO SCHOOL on February 18 and 21

After School study Sessions

After school study sessions are on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 each week. Students with missing work, failing grades, tutoring needs or just a quiet space to work are invited to attend.

Junior Achievement/JA Inspire for 8th graders (Sioux Falls Convention Center from 1-2pm on February 15 - leave 12:15 – return 3pm)

Purpose: Students who have an idea of what they want to do after high school, based on their self-awareness and exposure to business opportunities, are much more likely to take relevant courses, stay in school, and graduate. At the conclusion of JA Inspire, students should be excited about their future. They will have a better understanding of the courses they need to take in high school, a plan for post-secondary education, and a clear pathway to a career.
