Good afternoon, Lennox JH-HS Students, Parents and Guardians:
12:30 Dismissal – Wednesday, March 2
After School study Sessions
After school study sessions are on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 each week. Students with missing work, failing grades, tutoring needs or just a quiet space to work are invited to attend.
Saturday School
March 5th from 9-11am. For students with missing work. Staff will be present to assist students. All remaining missing work after March 11 will not be accepted and turn into Zeroes. This applies to all work due between February 3 to March 11.

8th grade students will be registering for classes on Tuesday, March 2, during their Math classes.
Heart Screenings

Women in Science
8th grade girls will be attending Women in Science on March 7 in Sioux Falls. The goal of Women in Science is to create interest in STEM careers by connecting the girls with local women already working in these professions. By providing contacts with potential mentors, we encourage young women to explore the possibilities available to them and to continue taking the math and science classes necessary to prepare them for careers in STEM fields. Lennox eighth grade girls will be attending on March 7th. They will leave from the school shortly after the school day starts and return before the end of the day. A sack lunch will be provided at the event, however, if your student requires a special diet, they may also bring their own sack lunch.

Students - Please remember to charge your laptops. Once your battery drops below 10%, your laptop will start to conserve energy and shut down systems (i.e., internet/Wi-Fi connection) to reduce power use.
Boys State – Understand the system of government, appreciate the responsibilities of citizenship and learn fundamental principles of leadership. Open to Juniors and Seniors. Boys State – South Dakota American Legion (sdlegion.org)
South Dakota Youth Trooper Academy – June 20-24. Pierre, SD. The program is designed to expose young adults to the demands of Highway Patrol Recruit training and to develop better relationships between the youth of our state and the Highway Patrol. Daily Attendance

Pre-ACT for Sophomores March 2nd. 12:45-4:00 PM COST: $12.00 (Cash or check payable to Lennox High School)
The Pre-ACT is the perfect way for sophomore students to prepare for the ACT. It gives a breakdown on scores, an interest inventory and practice for the real thing. Contact Mr. Breske to sign up. Deadline for registration was Thursday, February 17th.
