LWC Intermediate

On October 19th, some of our 5th grade LWC Intermediate students will participate in an International Reading Literacy Assessment called PIRLS.  The assessment is a research project designed to measure reading achievement in countries around the world and has been administered to students since 2001.  Results from PIRLS are used by researchers and policymakers to chart national progress against international standards and other countries around the world, informing national discussions about international competitiveness.  More information on the assessment is linked.
