Sandy Richter, from the Sioux Falls Outdoor Campus, came to talk to JrK students about animals in winter habitats. She read a book and students made an outdoor mural representing habitats.
Lennox Elementary's 4th-grade classes held a Super Bowl Food Drive. They filled 9 boxes, which will be sent to our local food pantry in Lennox. The contribution helps ensure that no one in our community goes hungry, and we are grateful for the generosity of our families.

Great singing by students in the Lennox HS choir program! Friends and family were able to hear many of the pieces from our recent solo & ensemble contest that took place in Vermillion earlier this month.

District 4th graders are working on real world research by exploring problems important to them and then using the design process to come up with solutions.
The LHS Concert Choir traveled to Vermillion to participate in our Region’s Solo/Ensemble Contest. We had 27 entries consisting of 18 solos, 1 duet, 1 trio, and 7 SA/TB ensembles. We received 20 superiors and 7 excellent scores. We even had 4 perfect scores during the day!
District first graders are working on the design process by building a Lego house that meets the challenge requirements. After building their 3D model they will work as a team to recreate their model in Minecraft.
