
Mrs. Bauder's class is working on a STEAM activity using the engineering process to create a secret hideout. They will take these 3D models and use them to create a build in Minecraft in February.





Mr. Hinker and Mrs. Shade's life skills math class came to visit. While they were at our Jr. Kindergarten class they played winter bingo, worked on math center activities, and had a fun snack!









4th Grade students at Lennox and Worthing Elementaries got to learn about computer parts by taking apart desktop computers.

Sandy Richter from the Sioux Falls Outdoor Campus visited Junior Kindergarten on Monday, November 20th. She talked to the kids about turkeys in their habitat. Evan Wollman is pictured dressed up as a turkey! Sandy read us about a book about turkeys and also helped us do a handprint turkey craft.











These students were "Caught Being Good" at Lennox Elementary! They received a pencil and will have their picture in the Lennox Independent! Keep being an example for the rest of our students on how to be safe, respectful and responsible.


Mrs. Temple's Early Childhood class went trick or treating in the Elementary office on Halloween. Students practiced using their words and manners talking to office staff.






Mr. Hinker and Mrs. Shade's high school life skills math class came to junior kindergarten. They played number bingo and Pete the Cat bingo. The high school students also helped the junior kindergarten students with their math centers. Everyone had a good time!






Members of the Lennox Fire Department brought the Kids Fire Safety House to Lennox Elementary. Students learned about Fire Safety from the firefighters and were able to crawl through the smoke house after being taught the appropriate way to do so.











The Scholastic Book Fair is always a popular place to be during Parent Teacher Conferences. Thank you to PACE and parent volunteers for running the book fair from 1-9pm today.


South Dakota DOT staff were at school this morning and handed out lighted shoe trinkets as part of their Walk and Roll to School Day program. Find out more at www.walkbiketoschool.org/






Early Childhood students in Mrs. Temple's class took a field trip to The Harvest on the edge of Lennox to learn about pumpkins.




All Lennox Elementary students received a pumpkin today thanks to the generous donation from the Aasheim Family! Students were excited and thankful for this gift.
