
2nd grade is learning about strong and weak beats in music this week. They learned a folk song from Ghana called "Obwisana" and had fun performing a rhythm stick pattern with a partner!

School buses are moving traffic signals...know when to stop! Flashing amber/yellow warning lights indicate that the bus is preparing to stop. Red flashing lights and an extended stop arm indicates that a bus is stopped! Please keep our students safe and never drive through a stopped school bus with red flashing lights and an extended stop arm!


We had some high schoolers introduce the 5th graders to all of the instruments. 5th graders will be trying out instruments next week.

The Lennox School District would like to thank Dr. David DeJong, the DSU Dean of the College of Education and Human Performance, for providing an outstanding in-service and kick-off to our 24-25 school year! He did an amazing job presenting and engaging our entire staff in conversations about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its application to K-12 education!

Lennox football players are learning skills, drills and techniques at camp. Wings Up!



The 2024 SDHSAA state track and field championships began from Howard Wood Field on Thursday with seventeen field and twelve track events. Lennox has an impressive 29 athletes who qualified for state! GO ORIOLES!

Sandy Richter visited junior kindergarten to talk about worms. The students were able to dissect gummy worms and learn about worms and what they do for our earth. Sandy also brought along her worm farms, so the students were able to explore real worms!











Mrs. Bartscher's kindergarten classroom loved to have Mr. Quail, Kelsey Schmidt and Noah Sayler visit to show us science experiments! Here are some photos from that time.





We were fortunate to have Brock Rops come to the Intermediate and talk to 6th grade students about failing forward. Great message!


Mrs. Lund's second grade class incubated and hatched baby chicks!







Lennox Sundstrom FFA had an awesome time in Oklahoma - great students, great experiences, and great memories made!!






LHS Anatomy students visited the USD School of Medicine Cadaver Lab last week.

3rd grade held a Wax Museum last week. Students dressed as a person from history and presented information they researched to people as they dropped changed in their bucket. All money raised was donated to the Ford family who lost their home and belongings to a house fire.











Students in 5th grade math created zoos by using area and perimeter. They then took their information and used Minecraft to upload their zoo.
