Oh, the fun we had during Read Across America Week! 📚🎉
Our junior kindergarten class celebrated with stories, smiles, and lots of silly Seuss-inspired fun! Throughout the week, we welcomed several special guest readers who helped bring books to life for our students. We’re proud to celebrate senior Emersen Lee for an outstanding achievement in Speech and Debate!
This past weekend, Emersen qualified for the National Speech and Debate Tournament in International Extemporaneous Speaking. Competing against top students from across the region, Emersen advanced through four rigorous rounds and earned the distinction of finishing as the 2nd national qualifier.
The national tournament will be held this summer in Richmond, Virginia, where Emersen will represent our school on the national stage.

Mrs. Adney's 6th graders had the opportunity to examine historical artifacts and step into the role of CSI detectives as they investigated the events surrounding Julius Caesar. It was a fun, hands-on way to bring ancient history to life!

On Friday and Saturday, the Lennox speech and debate team competed at the Sioux Falls Lincoln Silver Bowl tournament. Zachary Boysen placed third in novice Lincoln-Douglas. Darek Krohn placed first in novice Lincoln Douglas.

Gabi and Annie from the Sioux Falls Outdoor Campus visited junior kindergarten this morning to talk about turkeys! Bennett was chosen to be dressed up as a turkey! We learned lots of fun facts about turkeys, read a book about turkeys, and even made our own turkeys using our handprints.

Congratulations to our representative from Lennox for being selected to participate in the 2026 SD Junior Honor Choir! The auditions this year were highly competitive, with around 640 students from around the state auditioning.
