The Lennox Chamber Choir had a great time singing for residents at the assisted living and nursing homes in Lennox, Viborg, and Marion. So much fun to sing for others and to practice for their upcoming concert on Monday, 12/16 @ 7:30 PM.

Congratulations to our members who competed at State FFA LDEs this past weekend. We had a great time and represented our chapter well.
National Honor Society kids tied blankets for a charity.

Students at LWC Intermediate held their annual food drive for The Exchange. Over 1,000 items were donated. Student council reps, under the supervision of Mrs. Havrevold, gathered and counted items for 2 weeks. One turkey feather equals 10 items donated by each homeroom.
Sandy Richter from the Outdoor Campus in Sioux Falls came to talk with the junior kindergarten students about turkeys. Sawyer was chosen to be dressed up like a turkey! We enjoyed learning about turkeys, reading a book, and making our own turkeys.
The HS life skills class visited Jr K. Emily read There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey to the class. They helped Jr K students create a sequence of events from the story. At the end of the visit, all students made their own cornucopias that they were able to eat!
Lennox 8th grade students attended JA Inspire this week. JA Inspire is a career-based event filled with learning experiences that are designed by individual industry teams to align with what the industry will need from future employees.

The 6th graders played letter and number memory match with the junior kindergarten students this week- 6th grade buddies are a big hit with the JrK students!
Early Childhood students had fun on Halloween trick or treating in the business office and seeing what is inside a pumpkin.

Students at LWC Intermediate invited current and retired military citizens to present to students on their jobs and duties. Thank you so much for making our 1st Veterans' Day celebration one to remember!
Congratulations to Lennox Elementary School! Kristen Hardie and Cody Lutes were in Washington DC today accepting our 2024 National Blue Ribbon School Award!
Lennox Oral Interp went to Yankton on November 2. Six students competed and received strong scores. Visscher placed 4th overall in dramatic interp. Maddigan VanSickle placed 3rd overall in humor.
Congratulations to the Oriole Cross Country Teams on a great season! Lennox Girls XC team placed 2nd at state!
The high schoolers from Mrs. Shade and Mrs. Welch's life skills math class helped Mrs. Hinker's junior kindergarten students make spider headbands, and they also play a pumpkin number bingo game.
